With the vast amount of high definition content now available on mobile devices, wireless delivery of HD video is becoming increasingly important. CyWee provides chipsets designed specifically for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

AirStream chipset solutions provide a low cost, wireless high definition video solution for portable consumer devices and displays. AirStream delivers video in the highest quality and ensures reliability. The chipsets are embedded into portable consumer devices to facilitate the delivery of high definition content to the living room HDTV.

The chipsets feature an encoder and decoder that can be used in connecting smartphones, tablets, Blu-ray players, and other consumer electronics to HDTV’s. AirStream chipsets offer a dedicated wireless link to high performance applications in order to replace HDMI cables.

AirStream for Mobile Devices:

CW880
Designed for mobile devices, the CW880 supports video streaming through RGB or MIPI interfaces and network connectivity via SDIO interfaces. In addition, the CW880 compresses real-time video and audio using an H.264 algorithm. CW880 also facilitates packet transmits of compressed video through any standard IP networks, including Wi-Fi.

CW880 supports protected content output (HDCP 2.0). Blu-ray and other licensed digital content can be streamed by providers without concerns over copying of content. (More information available upon request)
